The Dam Run

This unique course takes participants across the top of the Stockton Lake Dam. Whether you're running/walking you have breath taking views of Stockton Lake and the Sac River below the dam. The course then winds through trees on a packed aggregate surface.

crappie logo Each April the staff at Stockton State Park Marina hosts a 5k and 1 Mile event to raise funds to implement an extensive trail system into the park. The goal is for the trail system to be used for exercise, learning, and family enjoyment by all ages and abilities. The 4^th annual event will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013. The event is family friendly and is a great time for participants and volunteers alike.

Stockton State Park is currently home to the Umber Ridge Trail which is approximately 1.75 miles long. It is not uncommon for visitors to see many native animals while hiking along this trail.

Hello Runners!

We hope you have been enjoying this beautiful weather by getting some good runs in! We have an exciting race year planned for 2012 with the addition of the national 9/11 Heroes Run this September a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day. Our race season will kick-off with the nighttime summer series at the Frisco Greenway Trail on June 2nd.
