This course combines urban energy with long uninterrupted stretches along the shoreline.

Starting in the heart of Branson Landing, runners head onto the riverfront roadway bordering Lake Taneycomo. The course follows the shoreline southward on a broad, mostly flat boulevard with continuous views of the water to one side and the Branson Landing district to the other.

The route features long straight sections that allow runners to settle into rhythm and maintain pace. The waterfront setting provides a unique atmosphere, with marinas, boardwalks, and riverside attractions creating an engaging backdrop throughout much of the race.

At the southern end, the course curves near the bridge crossing before turning back north. Runners then retrace the shoreline, passing through the central spectator area near Branson Landing before continuing toward the northern section of the course. The northern turnaround near the marina introduces several gentle curves and direction changes before returning south toward the finish.
