Sparta, MO - Saturday, October 26, 2013 the Sparta Community Development Organization hosted the Persimmon Day 5K Run/Walk at the Sparta Middle School. Proceeds from this event will go to help fund economic development activities for the Sparta Community. "Helping community businesses begin & grow". Beside a great race, awards & a good cause, runners also got to enjoy a FREE pancake breakfast after the race!
