Fordland, MO - Saturday, September 20, 2014 was the Fordland Care to Learn 5K which took place at Fordlands City Hall. This is a 5K Fun Run to Benefit Care to Learn Fordland Chapter. The goal for this fundraiser is to be able to financially keep providing immediate funding and action to meet any emergent health, hunger, or hygiene issue and restore a child's self-respect so that they can get back in the classroom.
The 5K was just one part of the Fordland Community Day of Caring. There was a Pancake Breakfast at 7AM, A Community Care Day & Auto Show will take place in the Fordland City Park starting at 10:00 a.m.
