Branson, MO - The Run for Hope 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run was held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Branson Landing. Money raised from this event went to two programs, the Backpack Club program, which provides supplemental food to hungry children to take home to eat on the weekends during the school year and the Christmas Share program which helps families who have fallen on hard times and is in need of assistance with electric, rent, propane, warm winter clothes and food.
Congratulations to the Overall Winners, the Male Overalls were Zach Collette from Springfield, with a time of 18:35; John Mwangi from Branson, with a time of 19:16 and Michael HayGood with a time of 19:25. The Overall Females were Cindy Carver from Morrisville, with a time of 19:38; Cristy Mahan from Springfield, with a time of 21:48 and Devra Gower with a time of 21:52.
