The annual Fort Leonard Wood USMC Volkslauf is a 6 mile (10K) Mud / Fun Run that offers competitive awards, food / drinks, and fun for the entire family! All proceeds of this one day event support Fort Leonard Wood Marines' Marine Corps birthday ball celebration which commemorates the birthday of their 'Corps by calling to mind the glories of its long and illustrious history. The mission of the Ft. Leonard Wood USMC Volkslauf Mud run is to provide a fun and competitive event to the community which raises funds to support Fort Leonard Wood Marines' Marine Corps birthday ball celebration. The Marine Corps birthday ball celebration is held every November and commemorates the birthday of the 'Corps by calling to mind the glories of its long and illustrious history.

8:00am – Opening Ceremonies/USMC exercises
8:30am – 1st Wave Begins (waves of 50 will be released in 3 minute increments)
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up will be available on Saturday, May 21st race morning starting at 6:00am on site.
All Parking will be at Nutter Field House, All participants will be bused to starting point. There will be no parking at Happy Hollow or surrounding areas.
Food and beverages will be at Nutter Field house after completion of race.
0600 - Registration/ packet pickup begins at Nutter field house.
0800 - First wave of 50 runners depart Nutter Field house.
0930 - Last wave of runners depart Nutter Field house.
1230 - Awards ceremony at Nutter Field house.
