Did you know?
Over 1 million Americans are currently living with a primary brain tumor, with benign brain tumors accounting for more than 72% of all brain tumor diagnoses. It is estimated that around 94,390 people received a brain tumor diagnosis in 2023. The most common primary non-malignant brain tumor, meningioma, has an average five-year survival of 88.2% after diagnosis. What we do to help:
Team ANA 417 is a local non-profit focused on helping those who have been diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma as well as other benign brain tumors. While most benign brain tumors aren't considered life threatening, it does not mean they aren't life changing. Brain tumors can have lasting and life-altering physical, cognitive and psychological impacts on a patient’s life. Here at Team A.N.A. 417 we help patients and their families by providing financial assistance, support groups and specialized programs to help with recovery and life coping skills post-surgery and/or radiation.
