Rogersville, MO - Saturday, January 16, 2016 was the first Annual Cabin Fever Reliever 20K & Resolution 5K hosted my the Ozark Mountain Ridge Runners & directed my OMRR members.  The charity for this event was Gathering Friends for the Homeless, which supports our homeless neighbors through meals and comfort items. Items collected included sleeping bags, tarps, tents, winter coats, socks, gloves & hot hand warmers.Gathering Friends Logo

Joplin, MO - Friday, January 1, 2016 over 300 people started the New Year off on the right foot with the Joplin Family Y! This race featured a 5K and YMCA LogoKids' Frozen Fun Run.  Both races started & ended at the Joplin Family YMCA's South branch. Proceeds from this event benefit the Joplin Family YMCA Annual Campaign.

Springfield, MO - Saturday, December 19, 2015 was the annual Run for the Ranch Half Marathon, Marathon, Marathon Relay and 6 Hour Run hosted by the Ozark Mountain Ridge Runners.  Run For The Ranch began in 1999 as a fundraiser for the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch, Ozark Mountain Ridge Runners, and other local charities. The event is held annually on one of the last weekends of the year and is traditionally one of the last chances to marathon in the United States.

Republic, MO - Friday, December 4, 2015 was the 7th Annual Reindeer Run 5K hosted by Republic Parks & Recreation at J.R. Martin Park.  All gifts were ReindeerRundonated to People Helping People in Republic, assisting them in their effort to provide Christmas toys to children in the Republic Community.

Joplin, MO - Saturday, December 12, 2015 Starlit Running Company held the Annual Ugly Christmas Sweater 5K & Eggnog Mile in downtown Joplin. ALL registered participants enjoyed post race snacks, coffee, hot chocolate, eggnog, and beer (1 glass per registered participant 21 years of age and older).

Branson, MO - Thursday, November 26, 2015 was the 4th Annual Branson Turkey Trot held at the Branson Landing.  This year's Turkey Trot had over 800 participants!  This year's charity is Taellors House with Project Hope which serves as an outreach to single mothers and their children.  Taellor’s House provides after school care for children along with various programs for mothers.  For more information about Taellors House, CLICK HERE. Along with proceeds donated to Taellors House, Christian Action Ministries was a the starting line collecting canned and non-perishable food donations to support local families in need this Thanksgiving.
