Springfield, MO - Saturday, April 18, 2015, Evangel Temple hosted the Auto's in April 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run.  Proceeds from this event benefit Royal Family Kids, which is the nation's leading network of camps and mentor clubs for children of abuse, abandonment and neglect.  Annually, 3.6 million cases of child abuse, neglect or abandonment are reported in America.  One of these victims dies every six hours due to that abuse. But you can make a difference — through your support of Royal Family KIDS!

Republic, MO - The 4th Annual Happy Feet 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run was held Saturday, April 11th at Calvary Baptist Church.  Proceeds from this event benefit the Republic Pregnancy Resource Center.  The Mission of the Republic Pregnancy Happy Feet LogoResource Center is to offer support and comfort to those in our community affected by unplanned pregnancy through mentoring, education, and providing hope for a better future.  The Republic Pregnancy Resource Center is a non-for-profit organization that relies heavily on donations to meet the center's needs. The center organizes several annual fundraisers to help support the center. Fundraisers and center-sponsored events are a great and fun way to participate as a community in saving the lives of unborn babies.

Saturday, April 4, 2015, was the 1st Annual Run for Son 5K & 1 Mile hosted by Campbell United Methodist Church.  Proceeds from the run will go to support Campbell UMC's Imagine Campaign.  After the race, the children's Easter event took place at 10:00 a.m. at the back field of Campbell UMC. 

Saturday, April 4, 2015 was the 6th Annual Crappie Day 5K & 1 Mile.  New this year, was the Crappie Day Challenge, participants could run the 5K & 1 Mile.  The combined fastest time2014 Crappie Logo won.  Congratulations to the 2015 winners of the Challenge was Justin Adams and Laura Vales.

Proceeds from this event benefit the trail system.

Saturday, March 28, 2015, Kirbyville R-VI School Foundation hosted their 1st Annual 5K at Empire Park Trail in Forsyth, MO. Kirbyville Logo Proceeds from this event benefit the newly formed Kirbyville School Foundation as it seeks to provide support to Kirbyville Schools for the enrichment of rural education opportunities by fund raising and charitable giving from the community, friends, alumni, businesses and organizations. 

Sunday, March 29, 2015, was the Paws for a Cause 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run sponsored by Grand Savings Bank.  This event benefited Second Chance Pet Rescue.GSB logo  There was remote adoption with animals from Second Chance Pet Rescue.  Local businesses had booths with products and goodies.  There was also "Pictures with Your Pooch" for a small donation.

Saturday, March 28, 2015 Starlit Running Company hosted the Superhero's vs. Villains 5K in downtown Joplin.  Runners & walkers saturated Main Street as their favorite Superhero or Villain.
