Springfield, MO - Saturday, October 24, 2015 was the Annual Jack's Wizard Waddle 5K & 10K benefiting the local Make-A-Wish Chapter. That means all the money will stay in this area (Southwest Missouri) to help families in our region!! A wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a life-threatening medical condition. 

Fordland, MO - Tuesday, October 20, 2015 was the Annual Iron Mountain Run Fordland Cross Country Meet.  Seventeen schools competed in this event: Spokane, Fair Grove, School of the Ozarks, Norwood, Seymour, Gainesville, Mansfield, Greenwood, Niangua, Conway, Marion C. Early, Chadwick, Hollister, Lutie, Bradleyville, Faith Christian & Fordland.

Point Lookout, MO - Saturday, October 17, 2015 was the Annual Ozarks Ambush Cross Country Invitational held at College/School of the Ozarks. CC LogoTeams in attendance included:

High School & Middle School Division: School of the Ozarks, Blue Eye, Galena, Willow Springs, Spokane, Hartville, Hurley & Niangua.

Hollister, MO - Tuesday, October 13, 2015 was the COC Small Schools Cross Country Meet.  Schools in attendance included: Hollister, Bolivar, Buffalo, CC ShoeReeds Spring, Catholic, Marshfield and Rogersville.

Joplin, MO - Saturday, October 10, 2015 was the Arc of the Ozarks held the Arc Trick or Trot 5K & 10K at Landreth Park.  Proceeds from this event The Arc New Logo 2011 JPEGbenefit The Arc of the Ozarks Joplin Division. The Arc of the Ozarks was formed and incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 1964 serving individuals with disabilities for 50 years.

The Arc's mission is to support individuals with disabilities in directing their own lives as valued members of the community. The Arc believes every person should have the opportunity to achieve the highest level of independence. provides a wide array of services ranging from residential, employment, community integration, education, day programming and recreation services. The Arc of the Ozarks serves 700 individuals in 16 Southwest Missouri counties.
