UPDATED 9/10/13 - Everyday we get a few more participants registered for the Azalea Run, so I'll do my best to keep this up to date. Below are a few statistics for the Azalea Half Marathon, 10K & 5K.
Largest team/Group Standings
The Running Chatters are leading the way with 37 team members, followed by the Nixa Running Group with 13 members, Soul Sisters with 9, Animal Care Clinic of Branson with 3, Athena’s Warriors with 2, Team Deaver with 2, Twice Fried Cankles with 2, Yarick with 2, and Team Wes with 1.
Young & Old are Welcome at the Azalea Run – There is NO TIME LIMIT for ANY of the Courses
Currently the youngest participant we have registered for the Half Marathon is 14 years old and the oldest is 70 years old (we have a couple of those!).
Currently the youngest participant we have registered for the 10K is 14 years old and the oldest is 62 years old. Please note, we have a 65 and older age division with NO RUNNERS YET..REGISTER NOW!!
Currently the youngest participant we have registered for the 5K is 10 years old and the oldest is 68 years old.

Largest Amount of Runners from a Few Cities
What’s great about the running community, this event benefits Christian County. Proceeds go to the Azalea Association in conjunction with the City of Nixa to implement trails in Christian County. A main focus of this organization is implementing trails around the schools in Nixa. The long term goals are to have trails throughout Nixa that go somewhere. Runners from all over the State and various states continue to come out and support the cause.
