National Running Day, held annually on the first Wednesday in June, is a day when runners everywhere declare their passion for running. It is a coast-to-coast celebration of a sport and activity that's simple, inexpensive and fun. It's the perfect way for longtime runners to reaffirm their love of running and for beginners to kick off a lifetime of life-changing commitment.

Join us and millions of runners across the world to celebrate National Running Day on June 4 2014 by running at Nathanael Greene Park, 2400 S. Scenic Avenue in Springfield from 6PM to 9PM, hosted by the Ozark Moutain Ridge Runners Organization.

Very low key event - OMRR will be providing water and bibs. Come out for whatever distance you want to run and fellowship with other OMRR members!
