New this year for the Azalea Run is the addition of the Virtual Azalea Half Marathon. With so many events going on that day in the area we wanted to allow another option for runners to be involved in this great event. 
Rules to the virtual run are simple:
1. Register for the virtual Azalea Half Marathon.
2. Run 13.1 miles between 9/1/16 and 9/10/16.
3. Take of picture/selfie once you're finished and post it to the Azalea Run Facebook Page
4. Virtual runners ARE eligible to be counted toward the team award.
The Azalea course will be marked all day on Saturday, September 10, 2016 and the start/finish line aid station will be up until 7pm so feel free to come on out and complete your virtual run on the Azalea course if you can't make the official start time (please note, if you do not make the official start time, you will NOT be chipped timed). 
Virtual runners will receive a shirt, Azalea cinch bag, lapel pin and finisher medal.
