Springfield, MO - Bookin' It For Literacy hosted by Pi Beta Phi was held Sunday, April 21, 2013 outside of Harrison Stadium at Drury University. This event benefited the First Book Organization whose goal is to transform the lives of children in need and elevating the quality of education by making new, high-quality books available on an ongoing basis. Their focus is on putting new books in the hands of the children who need them most.

Republic, MO - The 2nd Annual Happy Feet 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run benefiting the Republic Pregnancy Resource Center was held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Republic Community Center. Calvary Baptist Church hosted another successful event. The morning started off a little chilly, but quickly warmed up and made it perfect running weather.
